Reframed Blackbird Foundation’s digital presence to reflect the depth and ambition of their mission.

The Blackbird Foundation already had a brand. What it needed was a front door.
We built the website with Blackbird's brand designer, not around them—translating an existing identity into a living digital home, and making sure the first thing people met online carried the weight of everything behind it.
That kind of work is its own discipline. Owning a brand from scratch is one thing; stepping into one already taking shape and building on it without flattening someone else's vision is another. The website had to feel inevitable, like it could only have belonged to Blackbird, while leaving every choice the brand designer made intact and amplified. A front door does quiet, important work. It sets the expectation for everything inside. We built Blackbird's to open cleanly, hold the brand's intent, and make the right first impression on everyone who arrives.
Hear it from Blackbird Foundation's Creative Director, Joel Connolly: "In my journey of building countless websites, I've learned that true excellence isn't just about technical execution, it's about finding those rare partners who transform challenges into opportunities for innovation. This is exactly what I discovered in my collaboration with DreamLab. Without hesitation, I'd embark on another project with DreamLab. They've redefined what's possible in client-agency relationships, and that's worth more than any technical specification could capture."
